RID Testing update:
Beginning June 30, 2009, hearing candidates for certification must have
a minimum of an associate’s degree to take a performance exam.
Deaf candidates must have a minimum of an associate’s degree
as of June 30, 2012.

Chapter of the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc.
(RID)
RID is the only national association
dedicated to the professional development of interpreters and transliterators.
Founded in 1964, the goal of RID is to promote the profession of
interpreting and transliterating between American Sign Language and English.
